First 10 Years of My Life

During the first year and a half of my life i was an only child. Then my brother Gabe came along, this increased my family size to four; my mom my dad, gabe and myself. About three years after the arrival of my brother, my family got two cats from the pound. being little kids we hought it would be cool to name them keekee and ka. Their stay with our family lasted about four years, we eventually sold them to different owners, keekee was given to our babysitter Jan and ka was given to my older half brother Drew. Drew renamed ka Little Foot due to his very small feet. At the age of seven I was cut on my right cheek by Gabe which gave me the scar I have today. This same year I took to the seas with my dad on my first sea fishing trip. here I ended up getting cut by glass on my ear and my left arm. this happened because a glass hoop that held one of the lines exploded due to tension form the line, glass flew everywhere. I was the unfourtunate one, at first I was to distracted to realize that I had been cut by glass. I only found out about it when the captain pointed it out to me. I took three more trips after that catching anything from grouper to Barracuda.

Next Six years

At the start of seventh grade I lost my pet cat Hector who we had gotten 5 years before. Even though he was a cat he had a huge impact on my life. He was the first pet I had seen die after having a close attachment to them. I would honestly say that this caused a downward spiral leading to where I am now, I didn't smile for a while after my grandmother died, which was about 2 months after Hector's death. This was a very hard time during my life and I remember everything almost perfectly even though I have tried to shut it out of my memory. Starting Eighth grade year expierenced even more hardships this time at school. Almost everyone I talked to would either make fun of me or shun me, I lost a lot of freinds during this time. Luckily when I reached Freshman year everything that i had worried about went away and i could start anew. Sophmore year was probably the toughest year I have had to experience academicaly, French along with my struggle in math made it a very hard year. Junior year which I started this year has been going well(except for physics).
